Since its inception in 1993, Alestalo + Etzel has been commissioned to provide architectural services for such diverse projects as hotels, apartment buildings, industrial and sports facilities, new homes and additions, contract interiors, daycare centers and many other building types. Located near Syracuse, New York, our service area extends throughout the Mid-Atlantic states.
Erkki I. Alestalo
Has over twenty five years of architectural experience with particular expertise in construction administration. His most recent work has centered on affordable multi-family housing and other residential building types. In addition to practicing in New York, he is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Roderick J. Etzel
Mr. Etzel used his early experience teaching Architectural Design as a prelude to professional experience in all of the disciplines that are involved in buildings — mechanical systems design, structural design, and electrical design — and even spent some time as a consultant for a solar energy systems manufacturer. He has been recognized for expertise in hospitality design, and has designed hotels and restaurants in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Maryland.
